When you think of the sweet season of summer, what colors come to mind?

For me, it's peaches & corals with hints of vibrant pastels, like sunny yellow. This shoot happened on a whim. You might think the inspiration behind this shoot is all about summer, sunshine & good vibes, but for me, it goes a little deeper.

I like to pair my faith with my work from time to time. Lately, my creativity has reflected what God is doing behind-the-scenes in my life. That's looked a lot like releasing the old & welcoming the new. Walking circumspectly. Being intentional. Shifting my perspective. Stepping out in faith.

I believe one of the ways God speaks to us is through us being creative, simply because we were made in His exact image. If He dreams & creates, then so do we. It's in every person's DNA - given to us by the Creator Himself. Really, how amazing is that?!

And so, this creative shoot reflects:

FRUIT that signifies faith

JOY that springs forth in the valley

(Psalm 84:6)

LIGHT that shines like the noonday

(Psalm 37:6)
